Death Investigation Underway in Big Stone County

ORTONVILLE, Minn. (KWAT)–Big Stone County Sheriff Mark Brown says a death investigation is underway after a deceased person was found in a cornfield near Ortonville.
The discovery was made Monday night around 8:00 p.m.
The deceased individual was transported to the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the identity of the person, and the cause of death.
Brown does not believe there is any danger to the general public related to this case.
