Watertown Regional Airport Sees Strong October Numbers

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Watertown Regional Airport (ATY) recorded 1,645 passenger boardings in October, a 32% increase over October of fiscal year 2025 and the highest October total with a single airline serving the airport.

Of those October passengers, 458 flew to or connected through Minneapolis–St. Paul, and 1,187 flew to or connected through Denver.

ATY added additional flights to and arrivals from Denver this fall to accomodate pheasant hunters flying into and out of the region.

For the first ten months of the year, the airport has boarded a total of 12,960 passengers.
